yer so what are your thoughts on cosplay??? I personally thought is was quite a geeky thing till I met some geeks today that I have no fucking clue who the hell they are but hey, im now their new bffl's and we are going to a few cosplays in the coming months....(I just want to dress in my sexy maid otfit but wth) is anyone else off down to London or Birmingham or do you all have life's???

cosplay is both cool and geeky. I've seen some awesome costumes but never been to an event yet..

I think Cosplay is AWESOME!! I'm going to a cosplay thing in the Netherlands in April 6th so I'm pretty excited for it :D

Cosplay is a mixture of the two :) It's great fun to watch and take part in,so i'd say it's more cool than geeky. This yr i went to birmingham ComicCon (a fairly large cosplay/ anime/comic fair ) and for the first time did cosplay as Deidara from naruto. The Outfit took afew months of preparation and searching around for the correct items to buy and some were custom made to give it the edge against any other costumes of the same character. I guess for me its the thrill of being around like minded people who share the same passion/interest as me, as well as being able to meet the creators behind the characters and buy unique items to add to my collections or for future use :)

^ i'm always in and out of Birmingham! XD sounds cool and looks like it would suit you :) being part of CosPlay isn't all about dressing up and showing off though, it's more about having fun with like minded people :)
