I could feel my soul jumping down through the mattress. I had to leapt up before it hit the floor. And I'm so alone. Teeth the Size of Piano Keys, by Chiodos

Everytime i make friends something bad happens. Feb 12 2014, 08:34 PM
Just as the title says. Every time i get a good group of friends something happens that makes me lose them or grow distanced from them. Example, iliterally just found a group of friends where i actually feel like i belong, and i just today found out im moving to texas (from california) and iI'll have no friends yet again. Shit like this happens all the time. Should i just give up? I honestly don't see a point in trying anymore.

You could seek new human friends each time you lose touch with the existing ones, but that's only a temporary fix. The most bulletproof approach that I can see is to transcend the need to socialise with other human beings altogether. This could mean being satisfied with having non-human friends (higher mammalian species work best), creating suitable personalities with which your main personality can interact (think imaginary friends), or coming to terms with being alone and making the most of the independence and free time for which it allows. I've given this a lot of thought, so if you want to discuss these ideas in greater detail, don't be shy.

everytime you make friends, get their numbers, and stay in touch all the time. stop being distant from them. Whats the joy of life if you dont have others to spend it with?

I tried getting people's numbers and almost always they stop talking to me. I think I'll go with the idea of just not making human friends altogether. Unless maybe there are other ideas. There are 3 people i think i have a permanent connection with, and I'm hoping its true.
