Okay, I'm really sh*t at poetry, but I wrote this some months ago and it made me feel better to release all that emotion, so I thought I'd share. :) Chest aching, Fire burning- Inside. Your thoughts are dark and destructive, Mobbing your logic, Cowering in the corner. It dare not fight back. Your feelings, long bottled up, Have been left to spoil and rot inside you, And now they’re like vile poison, Dissolving your soul, Destroying you From the inside out. You made a fool of yourself, You want to rewind and take it back- Take it all back- Take everything back So that there was never anything at all. Dark images flicker across your eyes. A knife; Your blood; A punishment for being who you are. Fists clenching; Eyes draining; Gasping breaths. It hurts. ‘What’s wrong with you?’ The voice mocks. ‘Are you losing control? Can you not cope?’ It scoffs and sniggers. Pathetic. Weak. Abnormal. ‘Why are you still here?’ The question revolves around my head Everyday. Why am I still here?
