Silence is Golden Feb 24 2014, 04:25 PM

(Don't read if you cry easily...) When they say silence is golden, you know it's true, when you experience him, yelling at you. You want to cry, you hold back tears, everything you lost, is so near. You look him in the eye, and take it like a man, even when you've had enough, when it's all you can stand. He doesn't care, he keeps yelling. Maybe becomes physical, he says don't go telling. You keep your mouth shut, you wipe away your tears, you put on a fake smile, for your friends my dear. Once your awake, you fear the day, you want to go back to sleep, and make your pain wash away. When he looks at you, you wince away. And there he goes, screaming all day. When your alone, you finally let it out, hoping he won't find you, when your in doubt. He used to be gentle, He used to be kind, Now your love yells at you, Punching you from behind. You hope it will end, he must be 10 times bigger, but one day I assure you, he might pull the trigger.
