I am a songwriter, and this is an unfinished piece for our band. You'll remember this as the day your life began Waking up as a fucking killer, the modern man In a city where it's all about me A place of fusion and cages where we disagree But the backbone to your wicked ways The jaded souls that you wither away The grounding pillars to your fucking dream Is not at all what it ever seemed Forget this madness for just one moment So you can see all the bombs that YOU sent You think you have it bad? (We're killers) There are things, far more worse than this There are things, far more worse than all of this Right now, you're that rich percent (All the lives you'll never see) Right now you're that one person (All the slaves for you and me) And they pray, for just another day to be okay In god we trust I'll find your god in the eyes of dead children In god we trust And in the hearts of their mutilated brothers So fuck your god He was in the final cries of the molested mothers We are led by the wolves, like fucking tools But yet you chose, to be a fool Just look at the trails you left behind The ones you ignore because they're not your kind
