This song is about the inevitable end if war and differences are not wiped out Inside we cared, but we all knew the truth That this world was burning, and we were the fuel We chose not to take account, of the human factor But we finally did it, closed up the human chapter So how will you spend it, this very day? With mourning for ending hours or a child's forgotten play? Do you not wish for a god now, just hoping that somehow This won't be it, this won't be it But no lord shall greet you now, so just hope that it's quick, so quick As the walls turn to ashes and the ground falls apart This is the day, of our last war I heard that there used to be resistance I heard people used to be good But I can tell a liar with oil in his blood It's said we were once noble, who could have thought? Our intolerance to nature was the reason we fought And maybe, they said, maybe If we stand by indifferently then things might change To only breathe mistakes. But who could blame us when we were all the same?
