So, I've recently just got my ticket for Download '14 Who else is going? And who are you planning to see? ^_^

i was meant to be going with jake but his work wont let him have it off but i know his brother is going but thatd be kinda awkward and i know about one other person who is going but i dont know them that well apart from over the internet so :( :( crys

I am so jealous of all those people who live in the uk who can go to download festival, every year the line-up looks so freaking sick but unfortionaly i live in holland so i cannot go :(

Save money like crazy, and if you seriously commit, one day you'll get t one I went to Warped Tour in America last year, something not a lot of people outside of us can say they've done, not from where I'm from at least If I can get to a US Warped, you can get to a UK download Festival :) Never rule out the possibility ^.^

How was Warped from a UK guy perspective?

It was pretty intense man, a lot of it was mayhem, you get into the venue where there's food and then go outside where all the stages and tents are, thousands of people all trying to rush to the stages and line up boards to find out when their favourites are playing, then you gotta rush to the stages. Then when your watching bands, hardly anyone is standing still, everyone is either joshing, jumping, head banging or swaying. The atmosphere is incredible, but the heat is ridiculous, for us UK folk it is almost too much but of course Americans live in that type of weather so they're all fine, I made the mistake of not putting enough sun cream on, and it wasn't a strong one either, usually I get away with factor 15 or 20 but out there you'd need a lot more, so I got real bad sunburn It's different to gigs here in some ways but a lot of ways it's still the same So I'd say it's definitely worth trying at least once in your life, but of course if you go to the states you need at least 2/3 weeks, there's so much to do and see and Warped will take up one whole day of your time, I only went for just over a week and there was things I wanted to do, and it just weren't enough time :')
