Sometimes, just having people to talk to who are gonna listen is half the battle to beating depression, a problem shared is a problem halved Other than that, do things you enjoy, that make you happy, hang with friends who you know make you laugh and smile, so absolutely anything to keep yourself in a positive mindset, most of the time depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, you probably have an inbalance of Serotonin, and the solution can be as simple as taking a daily walk for fresh air ^.^ I've been through this, countless times and I find the best way I get over it, is to be with friends, if there's no plans, go out and make plans, and what personally helped me, is writing my feelings down in a personal journal, when you write things down, after a while you can read through your feelings in a better mindset and it becomes easier to pinpoint the problem and figure out what's making you feel depressed, once you've done that, it become easier to combat, you then figure out what you can do, to prevent depression At first it'll seem like it's not doing anything, but I wrote for a week or so, and after that time I knew what things to change, and I'm happy to say I've never been really badly depressed since then, there's been a few down moments but nothing near as bad as what I had, so I recommend writing in a journal ^.^
