First off, stop apologising! Everyone needs some help at times and everyone feels low at times Secondly, please try to resist any temptations to "carve" if you mean what i think you do Thirdly, im online a fair amount, feel free to message me any time ^.^ And lastly. Smile! Even if its a fake one, it can actually sometimes make you feel a little better!

Hi I'm new here so I hope you won't feel intimidated by a newbie talking at you! First of all never think your'e alone, its said so much, but when you feel isolated thats' exactly how it feels. That no-one cares or notices but the truth is a lot of folks are having exactly the same peoblems and are good at hiding it. So well done for taking the brave step and actually saying how you feel, that in itself shows great courage and is certainly not stupid, its exactly the opposite. Remember that self-harm is a way of expressing yourself emotionally and internally, I would resort to it rather than engage in socially awkward situations at one time so I know how hard it is to stop. But there IS alternatives. There are other ways of finding the same level of satisfaction, you are clearly an articulate person, hence your'e ability to say how you feel, so try and make that your main form of expression. You could try giving advice to other people in your situation, that in itself can be beneficial to YOU and show that you can make a difference! I really think you also need to boost your confidence which takes time and is hard to ahieve. But you are in no way inadequate, nothing you say or do is worth less than the next person, and in fact you must be stronger than many to come out and share your story. If you need to talk further, please feel free to get in contact, if not, I wish you all the best and hope you feel better soon! ;)
