Dear everyone: Oct 28 2014, 10:44 AM
This isn't a cry for help, or anything, just some general advice from a kid who thinks he knows it all. I have two things to say that apply to two sort of 'sects' or these emo forums. Sometimes it's difficult to know which one applies to you, so I'll leave this to your discretion (I will be sterotyping like fuck here, so don't bother with the whole 'oh but I'm not like that'). First off to those who are going through a hard time: it does get better. I know that in the throws of awkward pre-teen-ness you may not think so, but it genuinely does. Whether it's school, parents, social, or self issues, it gets better. Take that from someone who was one of people I'm also about to address. To those who are exaggerating on here, just to make themselves seem interesting, yeah you may have some issues, but don't play them up massively. There are plenty of people in a worse position than you, and not to belittle what you may be going through, be thankful for what you DO have. I'm probably not making any sense, but this whole emo shit was me in year 7/8 and kinda holds some sentimental value for me. In 3 years you'll be a completely different person, you'll see things differently and you'll have a different outlook on life. Idk. I'll stop now.
