This isn't a poem, but a song I wrote. I even changed some lyrics when I typed up the song. "Alright Again" I miss the days I felt like I was living Days when I felt alive Days when I looked forward to waking up in the morning Oh, how I hate this feeling I miss how things used to be, if I could go back I just want things to get better I'm sick of feeling this way Chorus: I'm sick of feeling this way Everything stays the same Everything is always the same Nothing ever changes I want to feel, I want to feel ok again Verse: Will I ever feel the same again? Will I ever feel alright again? Will I ever feel alright again? Day by day, nothing ever changes I always feel so alone, so empty, so numb Is this who I am? Chorus x2 When someone asks me how I am I want to be able to say, be able to say "i'm fine" and mean it truly mean it
