You shouldn't like someone JUST for their looks. A guy with long coloured straight hair, emo or scene with piercings isn't some kind of guarantee that he'll be the guy of your dreams or that he'll treat you right. Just my opinion I mean, like whoever you want but if you search for a guy with an amazing personality, you'll be much happier with him than some guy who looks hot or cool
