Okay so I now have a girlfriend which is really exciting for me and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on long distance relationships because I live in Ohio and she lives in California... I love her so much and I just want to make sure that I can keep it working as long as she wants to (please don't comment that long distance relationships never work out because we've known each other for two years)

Well I have been in one for over 2 years now. Not gonna lie it has some difficulties but we've lasted this long <3

I had a ldr that lasted almost a year once, my advice is to save up your money for when youre a little older so you can meet up...and video chatting. Even if you two dont say anything it works like magic...good luck!

http://www.lovingfromadistance.com/ is a great site. It has tons of helpful things to do for ldr relationships. My boyfriend actually lives in the UK and I'm from Washington state sooo very far! And I am actually getting the chance to fly over in a week now to see him. We always Skype. Even if we don't talk, just knowing that they're there with you is awesome. If you both have Netflix, I know there are apps that let you sync what you're watching so you could try that. Communication is so important though!

I've been in one for just over 3 years now and I'd say just stay in touch with each other, whether it's through vid chatting, phone calls, mailing, etc.
