Why do I not fit your standards? Why do you care so little for me? I try to make you understand But you can't quite grasp That I don't have to be like you But I kid myself I wish I were like you I wish I was accepted I wish that somebody would look at me And see a person that they would like If they only took the time And got to know me But they wont And they dont Because nobody cares about me I find solace in the music Ans the silence By myself Alone in the dark Alone at last I feel peace when I am alone I feel peace when I am alone I wish I could always be alone
