Need to be cheered up - nothing more Oct 05 2015, 07:01 PM

After almost 3 years my gf broke up with me, because of a guy who's 22 years older than her. Although it may sound pityful, I think this is the right place/scene to ask for some cheering up~ You can pm me if you like, but a post may also cheer me up a bit more. Despite already knkowing this it gives me the real feeling, I'm not alone with these kind of problems.

Man that's BS. People like that you're better off without,and if she really cared about you (or herself for that matter) she wouldn't do that. I know it hurts now,especially since you dated that long,but just keep your head up and focus on the positive aspects in your life and maybe slowly try and get yourself back into the single life and meet new people :) Just be sure to not lose your smile and keep on keepin' on :)

True~ I already had the feeling, that in the last few months she wasn't caring at all anymore. But I hope the single life won't be too long, since I'm not good at being single. I start getting depressions, feeling extremely lonely, I get concentration problems in university, etc. My smile on the other hand is something I never lose. No matter how horrible I feel, I always have a cheerful/charming smile, that no one can distinct from a real one. This helps a lot, finding a better half~

I understand that man,I'm honestly the same way about being single. Just keep smiling though,even if the smile is forced it does your mental and emotional health good to smile in general :) You'll find someone worth your time I'm sure,if stuff isn't meant to be it isn't mean to be. Just means there is someone/something better waiting for you :)

Thanks man :) I'm already looking and I think there is a slight possibility I already found someone. Still it'll take a long time getting close to her, since I tend to overextend and I gotta keep calm, so I don't mess it up :s
