Voices I sit alone in an empty room, but am I really alone? I am never alone, not ever. The voice starts out soft and gentle, then slowly grows into a buzzing of an army. They are all repeating the same thing in the chaos that is my mind. They are repeating ‘we shall not leave, we like it here.’ I try to stay calm but eventually I crack. Showing everyone who I truly am. I am a freak, a beast, an abomination. I bear the worst kind of scars, the kind not seen by the eye, but by the heart. Nobody understands how I feel, and they never will. They don’t care, they never did. All the voices are maddening and make me insane, but how can you go insane if you were insane to begin with.
