This is not a dating site. I know, I know. I see it all the time on this site. A sad kid who craves romantic acceptance no matter how anonymous or fucked up. And unfortunately this leaves a lot of people extremely vulnerable and susceptible to walking straight into traps. Posting forum topics looking for a mate is just sad as well. It's like posting an add in the news desperately looking for a significant other except anyone in the world could see it so it's worse. If you get any seemingly positive responses it is most likely because someone wants nudes or they are desperate as well. Desperate+Desperate=Avoidance of important topics Avoidance+Desperation induced extreme clinginess=No room to breathe. No room to breathe=Destructively defensive and abusive behaviour. All of the above = A lot of pain and wasted time. Not only this but a lot of people on this site are very sensitive and easily influenced hence what I meant when I previously mentioned walking right into traps. Horror story: When I first joined this site on my original account I was twelve. There was an account that would pm me a lot in the chat and constantly talk about painfully morbid subject matters for instance being inches away from suicide. Obviously deep down I knew I did not care for this person even in the slightest because a huge part of me knew he was blushing. Me being the vulnerable and naïve child I was at the time I stated that I would do 'anything' to keep him from harming himself. Long story short this led to me giving him my original Skype username which I then abandoned after all of the unravelled. Anyways as you probably already predicted from the beginning of this, this was all very much indeed a recipe for pure disaster. Now we all know about fuckboys and creepy old guys on the internet. This dude took it to a whole other level. Discussing gore and paedophilia fetishism which just added on to his generally very morbid mannerisms. Now he still continued talking about how he was going to kill himself and so he wouldn't 'kill himself' I then proceeded to execute some, well, not exactly flattering, decent, or morally right actions. Lets just keep it PG and leave it at that. You can already probably already imagine how horrifying it was. But this continued quite some time. I tried to end it, I made new accounts on thissite but he would pm me on each one and he continued to make new Skype accounts, he would constantly blackmail me and threaten to post screenshots and make them go viral and I felt trapped. It was painful both physically and emotionally but I did this because I was naïve and I wanted to feel needed and useful, I wanted to have a purpose, I needed to feel wanted. Finally I ended it, I did my best to delete everything, I abandoned the acoount without a trace, and I reported all of his account on this site. Now obviously a lot of people are smarter than me, granted I was twelve and I was going through some not exactly desirable circumstances at the time so I was a lot more vulnerable than I should have been but I still wouldn't wish any of what happened upon anyone. I just want you all to keep this in mind before you do anything regrettable or attract the wrong people. Stay safe fam.
