Emo Scene Community

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan, or if you wish iifearzz. I used to be very active member on this site back in 2011-2012 (maybe even a bit of 2013), what was probably the peak of the SoEmo community, Where you'd join the chatroom at any time of the day and it was be swarming with people, and to be honest a lot of those people have left a long lasting impression on me in one way or another. I am thankful for this site, it helped me cope with my loneliness, time times I was depressed and elsewise, I would come in and chat with everyone, girls would hit on me (that was a big confident boost I needed back then, people would share art and songs, poems and shit. Coming onto this site, reading messages and going through friends accounts, the people I remember 98% of them have changed, most still carry certain aspects from their days along with them. In my Case it's the music and my love for tattoo's and piercings, for some its art, some relations and friendships. Guys and gals, i hope you all can make friend here and enjoy your time and thank Matt deeply for giving such a strong sense of community and always been there to help and support everyone while keeping the site running, because I surely do. Coming back to this site, and seeing memories of my 14 - 16 year self is really heart warming and nearly brought me to tears, for me it was definitely a phase but a phase I will remember. When I dropped out of highschool I decided I wanted to make an effort in real life, not on the net making friends.I cut my hair, Dressed a bit more "normal" and I already started to feel better. On my first do of a thing called Tafe, I decided I was going to walk up to the cutest girl I see and chat to her, from there It evolved to the best two years of my life. I had so many golden memories, friendships and relationships that I will never forget, purely because I eventually just turned around and said "fuck it, got to try". It may not be the same for you, and it may be tomorrow, it may be 2years, maybe even 5 and some of you's just never will/won't want to (I can understand, like I said, i had an amazing time back then too) but everything changed, everything will go up, down and back up again (It will just continue that way) but after awhile you will fight harder and harder for what you truly want. For my friends on this site who are gone who will never see this, I miss you guys, For the people still here, I wish you the best of luck on this site, and watch out for creepers and catfishers. A lot of people on this site aren't who they say they are (from my experience it was mostly some girls pretending to be others due to self-confidence issues) but there has always been a few cases of creepers, if you are unsure or feel unsafe because of someone, always let someone know. Also, snapchat is the only main messagign App where you can't fake being someone else really. KiK, Skype and all them can still be faked. Rock on Guys \m/ P.S.
