Pigeon Park Birmingham Jul 22 2016, 03:52 PM

Hey, I was wondering if anyone from Birmingham goes to Pigeon Park (St Philip's Cathedral)?. I would love to go there one day and meet friends, if anyone goes there can you tell me what happens?. :)

I'm from the US, but I read an old article and a forum topic on emo corner about Pigeon Park in Birmingham. It was a great hang out for emos, scenes, and other alternative people. Not sure if lots of people still go there, but you could always go and see if people still hang out there.

pidge died years ago, sadly (In my opinion). the old schooler's have all moved to Mell point or we meet down by the canals. The park is more often or not full of wannbe's or kids doing drugs/drinking under age plus police/security like to split the group up /moving the meets on. not to say the meets are no good nowadays because they're alright (sometimes), just not as good/welcoming as they once were. Only alternative thing b'ham has going for it is it's night life/gigs, esp since they're trying to close down Oasis market.
