I think I can sing well

I've been told I'm really good but I don't think I am

i kinda sing well..i dont think i do but everyone else says im good..i love music so...

This is gonna sound so lame but I've always loved singing, so much so that when I was in school I took Music as a BTEC even though I knew it'd be awkward and embarrassing to perform because I'm quite the introvert aha. In order to pass that course the whole class had to create and carry out a 'live performance night' type thing at the end of the second year, there were multiple performances and we'd been practising for a good few months and putting this whole thing together. The class was split into a lot of different groups, so there were solo and group performances. My solo was Hollow Crown by Architects. So it gets to the night, I'm walking around the school grounds with no shoes on because I'd just gotten my foot (very badly) tattooed - I was 16 at the time so probably shouldn't have gone there. Anyway, I had no shoes on and a couple of my friends were there helping to set everything up and I'm a smoker so we had to keep sneaking to the back of the school fields every so often because we were excited and nervous and bored I guess. I hadn't practiced for a good few days at all for my song because I was trying to save my voice up until I went on so we all had a lot of time to kill. I get a phone call, I don't recognise the number so leave it to ring because someone's talking at me. 20 minutes later I realise I'd missed four calls so rang the number back, it was a call telling me that someone very close to me had passed away a few days ago. I'd known they were ill for some time and because of school and working, etc, I hadn't seen them for at least a month but last I heard they were doing so much better and getting well, so it was a shock to hear. Needless to say, I didn't do my solo. I didn't really do very much of anything.. I decided that I would stay barefoot until I was done grieving and that lasted for months. I stopped singing altogether, even though nobody wanted me to stop, I just couldn't do it anymore because the association just brings me back to that time. That was four years ago now and I still can't sing in front of anyone and I regret not doing so because maybe doing that performance would have made things better, idk. I just can't help but feel like maybe they took my voice with them that night... Sorry for the waffling, this was more for me than for anyone else

i used to sing more when i was younger! singing makes me feel alive no matter how i sing! i think i can sing well some people think i rock while some others think i need more practise! All in all, i can say that i can produce the right melody because i have a really good ear!

I have sung all my life, and am considered an amazing voice by my music teacher, so I mean, I guess I can sing well.

i have smule, which is a singing app. Most of my covers are videos. All of my life (in school), I always had music class. I dont think I'm great but I also dont think I'm bad due to the amount of followers i have in that app so yeah.. hahahah XD
