Lyrics With Meaning Sep 29 2016, 01:16 PM

Here's a place for us to post little snippets of lyrics that mean something to us, no matter the reason. If you feel like it, you can post the reason too :) I guess I can start: This comes from Alesana's song Hymn For The Shameless: "Sanity is slowly slipping from my hands now, I'm standing closer to the edge than I should be allowed." To me, it just kind of means he's so close to letting go of everything. Maybe he's crazy and he wants it all to end. It almost feels like he's asking someone to pull him away from the brink. And here's one I can identify with from Can You Feel My Heart by Bring Me The Horizon: "The higher I get, the lower I'll sink." I believe Oli wrote that after getting help for his addiction and I think it's great, as an addict, to be able to realise that getting high didn't solve anything, it made it worse. Your turn :p

I'm vanishing from where I stand, it isn't yet too late to get the cure." - So Alone by Anna Blue comes to my mind a lot because I was raised inside of a house, I never really got to have friends until my dad bought us devices, then I made some internet friends. I'm still don't go out very much because my mom doesn't let me (she wants to avoid socializing), but, at least it's a little better. "All you'll ever be is a faded memory of a bully. No one's gonna cry in the very day you die, you're a bully." - Bully by Shinedown comes to mind because...well, my mother, again. I know that everyone has a story, and I don't fully know hers, but, it doesn't change how she's been a bully to the whole family since...nearly the whole time.

honestly, these verses that I picked from Better Off Dead by Sleeping with Sirens are self explanatory.. and sometimes relatable to me that's why I love this song.
