DSBM (depressive suicidal black metal) is a subgenre of metal often depending on a very gloomy atmosphere, dark lyrics, and instrumentation can be like that of traditional black metal or may have ambient, triste elements to it, or may resemble avant garde/blackgaze. The vocals can be like that of traditional black metal as well, or range from shrieks and sobs to howls and crying. So yeah... this is what you listen to if you have no feelings cause you're dead inside but you want express what you know you would feel otherwise. Do I recommend different types of dsbm to different types of people? Absolutely. The more triste, sobbing DSBM is for you if you're really well... sad. Or not, if you get triggered easily...? The blackgaze is more for people who kind of appreciate waxing nostalgically on what could have been, and they like swirling wine in a cup while reading "Anabelle Lee." Traditional black metal is for nature connected, poetic people, not hopelessly lost under a sea of emotions and suicide dreams, but people who are very creative and think about what it would be like to experience that sadness. DSBM ambient is more like if you're just looking to surround yourself in a little world of your own, close your eyes and roam an empty street.
