Security Changes http to https Jan 27 2017, 11:49 PM

Just to let everyone know a lot of security changes have happened in the last few days and the web address is now https://www.soemo.co.uk rather than http://www.soemo.co.uk. If you have any issues just let me know.

should have added this update to "emo site news" tab..been years since you've added to it x'D but glad to hear the site is still secure.

Haha yea that news was mainly for me as a bit too geeky for most users. Glad you use to look at it though! I have my own log of every change made on the site anyway.

@Pyq; The move to HTTPS just means that the data connections between the site's servers and the userbase's computers is alot more secure using a digital security technology called "Transport Layer Security", also known as TLS, which is the de facto security technology used for HTTPS It doesn't mean that it'll make it impossible to crack into the connection and steal any data that can be used to compromise accounts, but it sure will make it a lot harder.
