I’m mixed and I have afro-textured hair, so I can’t wear a lot of the emo hairstyles I want to unless I straighten my hair. Do you guys know any I could do with braids or with my natural hair without it being braided?

If you're a guy, buy a nu-dred twist sponge and rub it on your head in a circular motion so your hair will be kinda spikey. For bonus points, dye the tips blonde, red or whatever. Or get your hair braided like Chief Keef so you'll have hair in your face for that emo look.

I recommend dreadlocks with dread-bangs. Like this: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/0osAAOSwqrtWpIx~/s-l300.jpg Also, make sure you've got the emo swag down to a science. It's harder for black people to look emo to others since it's typically a white thing.
