I've often compared about the variety of accessories that women's fashion has access to compared to men's fashion. I feel that men's fashion is limited in what people consider conventional in terms of accessories. Common items that come to mind for male accessories are:

Watch

Sunglasses/ eye glasses

Ties

Cuff links

Belts

I don't really accessorize... I sometimes wear a watch. Every other accessory that I wear would just be situational - sunglasses, tie, belt as needed. If I'm aiming for variety, I go for texture or interesting pieces, not accessories.

But that's just me. I think some of the less mainstream accessories can look pretty cool if done right. Simple leather bracelets or anchor bracelets can look good and so can interesting rings. Same with scarves. Necklaces are hit-or-miss.
