About Me
im 16 and love music, reading, sports, and cars (I have a Mustang). im a little socially awkward and try to control the conversation without controlling it. My older sister is the perfect little angel so I get put with the pressure to live up to her and get compared all the time. Due to this, I can't really open up about who I am and my interests. My mother claims "She doesn't want her child to be one of those people." It's really annoying and I kinda built this emotional wall around myself. Anyways, I have pets, a car, a bunch of books, and almost no spare time.
LIKES: I like cars, sports, science, history, sewing, playing music, fixing cars, music, anime, tv, movies, books, comic books, animals, being alone, clearance sales, physics, arguing, and I have a weird obsession with collecting pens and im kinda OCD about them.
Dislikes:Fire, loud noises, zombies, hamburgers, pie, basketball, eyes, slow but lasting noises, random noises, casual conversation, small talk, being thrown in social settings, bows, early mornings, and being judged.
Favourite Music
My family is really judgmental about the music I listen to. Personally, I play the violin and saxophone. But I mostly listen to classical when around family. When alone I go for: Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides, Fall Out Boy, Bastille, Train, Chicago, and Boston.
Favourite Films / TV / Books
I don't have much time for movies/Tv but I like psychological horror, adventure, sci-fi, and historical biographical. My favorites are movies that get you thinking and most people don't understand. My top three are Inception, Interstellar, and Contagion.
For TV: I love anime (Black Butler, Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, and Full Metal Alchemist. I also like "normal TV" such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, Sanctuary, Falling Skies, Ghost Adventures, Mysteries at the Museum, Southern Justice, Psych, Burn Notice, and all those superhero shows.
I travel a lot so reading is something I actually have time for. I like things similar to my taste in movies. My favorite genres are Psychological Horror, Science Fiction, and Historical Fiction. My favorite authors are H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, Erin Hunter, Stephen King, William Sleater, Gaston Leroux, and Phillip K. Dick.
My favorite books are The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells, House of Stairs by William Sleater, The Phantom of The Opera by Gaston Leroux, the Asylum series by Madiline Roux, and Ubik by Phillip K. Dick.
Education / Occupation
I am a senior in high school and dual enrolled in multiple classes at the local college.
I coach gymnastics. The average age of my class is from 3 years to 9years
Who I'd Like To Meet
At home I constantly get judged for who I am and can never really express what I feel. My parents control every aspect of my life so im just looking for someone who can help me escape everything and can understand what im going through.
I went to a firework show tonight. It kinda got me thinking. It's kinda like life. We shoot off the ground and have the expectation of the people to amaze. Then we explode. Some are impressed, some aren't impressed. So our light slowly falls back to the ground. But before we hit we decide to try again and again. Some people begin to lose interest because, to be honest, we're a repeat of the same old process.
Then comes the finale. We're done with the people and what they think, in one final attempt, We light the sky up in a blaze of fire and sound. This time we are out to make some noise and state our opinions. If people don't know we exist, they do now. It took time, but we finally put on a show worthy of who we are as human beings.
That's how life should be. Things get better once we quit standing up for other people are start standing for what we believe in. Live every day like a grand finale. Leave them wanting more or leave them wanting to leave. In the end it doesn't matter. We put on a show that pleased ourselves and if they are true friends, it impressed our friends.
