I should start making my own picks lol, it's a lot cheaper. My mum won't complain as much about how much my hobbies cost her.. I like some light distortion and heavy bass on my guitar. I don't have an effects pedal yet, so it's all basic at the moment. It was good that for once my pick didn't snap. I still can't use a pick for just strumming one string though.

And it makes you sound like a chav lol... Guess it's cus my towns finished. Not many people go there much now. I only go there for clothes and guitar stuff, the rest I get online. I'm still searching for that perfect sound as well. For the moment bassy sounds suit me best. I tried a .71mm pick today and took your advice. I didn't snap it! It's actually an achievement lol

I only talk like that if I'm pissed off about something lol. Even my brother can spell better than that, and he has learning difficulties. Lol I had to be interested in the 70p each ones -.- typical me... Haha, reminds me of something someone once told me: "like supreme court justice, you're a guitar player for life" lol

I've usually been able to do anything I put my mind to, even if this is the longest amount of time I've ever spent trying to learn something... What make is it? I'll see if my local music store has one. I only drop things when I'm nervous. I tried glueing a pick to my fingers once with the school glue. It came in handy seeming as I was being taped that lesson. I know what you mean lol. I sometimes wonder if a gorilla can take less than 10 minutes and write more than "cool" or "lol" or "k" or "ikr"

Thats why I thought I'd get some qualifications out of my guitar haha love to see his face when I pass my music haha lol.. I'm not that worried about dropping it lol, unless I'm being taped for evidence :/ worst part about music Sounds like me and some of my friends, but we only say 5 phrases in english, the rest is in french lol, so for me it's nice having a full conversation in <i> english

Lol hes the one who said I'll never be able to learn to play the guitar. I couldn't help but bet on it hahaha... I hold it with my thumb and two fingers :/ no wonder they snap lol... I don't have many people to talk about guitars with either, and the ones I do talk to I'm not gonna see for 6 weeks...

Damn, how much are they now? What if it was for one night only? I'm trying to work out how I'm holding it wrong, then I'll start using lighter ones. I pay just before each lesson, but I can't quit or just not turn up cus I'll fail my music and lose some money through bets with my step dad haha lol... I should stop hogging your comments page...

I just get people telling me not to hold the pick so tight lol. It probably explains why I break half my picks... I'll have to pay before The lesson as well, but if I quit I'll have all my music teacher moaning at me again lol... They're probably for people who play live and not to be played for more than a few hours lol.

I'm not sure. Apparently I sound good for self taught, but theres a huge difference between me and this other person who has been playing for the same amount of time with lessons. Not many places offer trials or money off if they come back. It's definitely a cut above the rest :) Yeah, and theres an actual space there to promote bands looking for members/musicians looking for bands that sorta thing. I've seen someone offering glow in the dark multicoloured strings for £10 lol. Got me tempted until someone told me it makes the strings sound like you've been using them non-stop for months.
