What I Know Now
I wish I would have know what I know now. More specifically, what I know about love.
I wish I would have known that one's first love never stays by your side, but in your memories. Or that you never really have a first love until you learn to love yourself.
My question to myself is and forever will be, "did you really love yourself then," and "do you love yourself now?"
Did I love myself when I was with him?
Did I love myself when I was chasing after her?
Do I love myself now?
If so, am I ready for love.
Maybe, but that doesn't mean I should go looking for love. I should wait for it to find me.
That is what I know now.
