Oh, sorry I read your message closer. There's a handful of ways you can do this but I've got a few questions. How long is your hair exactly? Like, in relationship to your shoulders? Do you ever straighten your hair? Does it stay straight? <-- Do you want it straight? How do you style your hair? Which side of the crown do you put your part on? Like, your left eye, or right eye, or middle? Do you have any hair cutting tools? Let me know! ^_^

And teaching it of course....lol Yeah i had to buy it separately but i'm upgrading it to a 'cliplock' one which is more secure, you'll see it in any pics we get at the next gig, the guitarists from All Time Low, Four Year Strong and Chad from New Found Glory use it, they're wicked :D x

OH! Those kind's of tapers! Hot Topic generally sells tapers two gauges at a time, so like 20g, 18g, 16g, 14g, etc. There's a lot of ways to stretch your ears but the most basic way is to start with an 18g. But the first four gauges are really really easy so I'd recommend jumping straight to 16g and saving yourself a little cash. Follow the chart and keep in mind how far you can stretch without having a blow out, (Gauging to fast and tearing your ears." One more thing to keep in mind. Your ears will stretch and if you enjoy stretching and you want to do big gauges, like 1/2" and larger, you'll need to make sure the ear you're gauging is pierced a little higher on your lobe. It enables you to gauge further. Some peoples ear lobes are so small they physically can't gauge beyond a certain point. So there you have it! ^_^ Just a side note, they're saying cartilage piercings should be done with hollow needles because piercing them normally greatly greatly increases the chance of infection. Not that it matters. If I get a cartilage I'm probably going to just have mine gun pierced. lol
