Using a pair of OPEN clippers that would be to the skin without a guard. We usually call it a bare shave. As for actual TAPERS I would say the shortest is called a short taper which is performed with CLOSED clippers close to the skin without a guard. All tapers require a steady hand and are most often free hand, meaning they're done without a guard, and you don't have anything to rest the clippers on. You can do it by holding the clippers comfortably then resting the side of your hand on the persons head then without moving the clippers, only your hand, glide across their head. This way you can get as close or far as you want. The molding is exactly how you'd imagine. You can change the length depending on the desired outcome. ^^ I hope this helps. I'm not sure what you're trying to ask because depending on what you're doing my answer changes. Medium tapers are performed, in some ways, different then short tapers. Are you doing a men's haircut? We have a very good drummer so it all comes from him, he's awesome :D The ecomomy is rubbish, recession has hit the country hard and no one is hiring. Everyone's poor and its not a good state. So yeah, its great! Haha x

Don't worry if this project ever fails i will just start or join a new one, as i've always done in the past. I don't think i could ever stop doing it cos its always been what i've done throughout my life. Its different over here in the UK you gotta really shove your music in people's faces for them to actually think about it, which is a shame seeing as its so accessible via the internet and all that, most people are too lazy to listen to new unsigned acts x
