it feels wierd, especially for me cuz i don't like getting mucky, but i have to cover myself in the real stuff when im there both for authenticity for the vistors to the museum, and to get into the character and feel what it must have been like :) xx

its really fun :) i do the re-enactments at the black country living museum, i do the victorian christmas there, carol singing, dressed as a gentleman, and i do the re-enactment or the cradley heath women chainmakers strike of 1910 dressed as a miner covered in real coaldust lol xx
